Mercedes-Benz – Chrome Ceramic Grill Coin Bank

Made in Japan by Lego Imports which was distributed by Goldman Morgan which was a New York based company. Lego Imports made a variety of collectibles. NOTE that this Lego name has nothing at all to do with the little Lego building blocks we all know so well. This bank is one of a series of automobile grill banks made in the 1960’s. They are all very, very difficult to find. This piece is ceramic with a chrome glaze, and still has its original Lego sticker on the bottom. This bank, like many items here is the only one we have ever come across. Dimensions: 5″ high x  3.5″ across.  Excellent MINT condition. Comes with its original box.
