The real car, Ch. No. 90104 won the Pebble Beach Concours Best of Show title in 1997. Extremely rare, from a long ago sold out serial numbered limited edition of just 250 pieces. (Marshall has one of these beauties in his personal collection) This one is S/N 015/250. These Talbot-Lago models were hand built in the USA 15 years ago (in 2002). Made of white metal, it has some heft to it, weighing in at a solid 2 pounds. The stance and finish of this model is every bit as wonderful as the real 1:1 car. The two-tone high gloss paint finish is superb as is the fit and finish of all chrome trim. Complementing the paint and trim are chrome plated wire wheels. One of the many great touches is the removable sunroof panel, which fits perfectly. When the panel is removed, it lets you get a better view of the beautifully detailed interior with fully detailed dash, gauges with separate chrome bezels, all switch gear, and simulated wood trim surrounding the dash as well as around the door windows. Suffice it to say, the interior is highly detailed, door panels have chrome handles and window cranks, the seat has its central arm rest in the down position, and more, and the seats look better than on some larger scale models. This piece comes in its original box. Note that this model should almost be considered as NOS (New Old Stock) since it has been stored in one collection since new, never taken out of its box until just recently, and only for photos to be taken!
