This model was made in the early 1990s by HE 14, hand built in Italy. The model is of the Ecurie Francorchamps entry, 2nd place overall winner at Le Mans 1965. Great looking model. All panels open, good level of detail, great paint finish, hand laced wire wheels. Two support rods included for front and rear panels. Comes mounted in its original display case. The acrylic cover has a couple of cracks, and it can be replaced at cost of $65.00. The model is attached to the base with two screws, with cork bushings between the model chassis and the wood base. This model is serial number 30. Believed that less than 100 of this version were produced. Dimensions: Model is about 12" long. Case is approx. 15" x 7". Mostly as new condition but with a bit of expected patina for model that was made almost 30 years ago.
