Circa 1997/98. Union 76, Exxon, Circle K. – Quartz Japanese movement, Limited Edition #179/950. Case measures 38.5mm including crown. Minute hand features a vintage GP car on it which hovers over a race track on the dial. This Ltd. Edition was produced exclusively for TOSCO. With original leather strap, original box, insert, and papers. Still has protective film on the back of case. Never worn!  TOSCO (The Oil Shale COrporation) was an independent US based petroleum refining and marketing corporation, founded in 1955. In 1996, TOSCO acquired the Circle K chain of stores; in 1997 they bought the rights to the Union 76 brand of gas stations, operations of Unocal and had an association with Exxon prior to that.
