SWISS, 17 jewel, automatic mechanical movement, with date. Gold plated case. This vintage watch is in great condition and was serviced. Crystal is original which we had polished, and kept since it had the magnifying window over the date. The original dial is excellent with perfect logo and the DX Oil slogan: “Know’n by the customers we keep”
Ready to wear or display. Case measures 36.25mm including crown. These watches were never offered or sold to the public; manufactured in very small quantities…think of hundreds and less. Therefore by their original limited production nature and through general attrition this is a rare and exclusive collectible watch. The chance of you ever seeing someone else wearing (or owning) the same unique timepiece is slim to none.
Additionally, we’re including a terrific vintage (circa 1950’s) DX Oil mechanical pencil with a miniature simulated Oil Can on its top. Together with the watch this makes for a great display in any automobilia collection.
