About Sean McKenna:

I feel more like a proud parent than an agent for Sean

McKenna and his marvelous models.  These very rare 1:8th

scale Bugatti models are masterpieces and represent

exceptional value.  Sean spent a good deal of  time studying

with some well known European model makers.  Not only has

he perfected and improved many modeling techniques learned

over the years, but he continues to hone and make

improvements in all areas to create superb collector models

that offer much more value for the money than some of the

more well known names.  Just ask me and I’ll be glad to

thoroughly and accurately inform you.

About the T-57G model:

Here is one of the most amazing scratch built model editions

we’ve seen in a very long time.  This masterpiece is 2 ft. in length.  Practically all metal.  The model pictured is of the first one Sean completed

which was photographed just before delivery and now resides in a substantial private model collection.

The edition of the Tank is limited to only 10 examples and 5 models are already sold.  Each is serial numbered and each is built to order with 90%

of the model being scratch built.  Approximately 500 hours go into  the fabrication of each «Tank» model.

This edition has been extensively and thoroughly researched including a thorough examination of the only remaining car residing in a private

collection in the USA.  Over 12 months went into the planning and fabrication of the prototype model.

Here is some very brief information of what goes into the creation of each.:  The bodies are hammered from sheet brass, respecting the coach

building traditions of yesteryear; the aluminum and bronze lost wax castings used are of premier quality and are cast at one of France’s most

highly regarded foundries; machined parts are accurately turned & milled on conventional tools.  Only the best available materials are employed

throughout, from lambs-hide to fruit-wood, and even Sterling silver.  The details that go into each are too numerous to list.  Perhaps most

importantly, each of the several thousand parts receive their appropriate and authentic patina, polish, bright plating, hand-rub or brush finish which

in  completion lend an effect that tends to be as much a work of art as  a scale model.  Befitting as a Bugatti should!

Specific working features and details of note are:  opening panels, functional suspension and steering, fully detailed engine and chassis.

You may select the «Tank» as the 1937 or 1939 Le Mans winner, or without any race numbers as shown in the photographs of the first model.

Aside from the actual fabrication time to build your model delivery time varies and depends on the backlog of orders being worked on.  Please

note that the edition of the T-55 Roadster is close to being sold out and those models will continue to be offered and built until the limit of that

edition is reached.

Enjoy the photos!
