This features the Bluesmobile parked in front of Rays Music Exchange. I love diorama's, and it takes a truly skilled artist to make one. I came across this detailed little gem last year. The diorama has been created, built, hand-painted and detailed by artist D.A. Clayton.
The wall Mural was designed to appear as if it were painted onto the bricks. The backdrop is made from solid wood and overlaid with a simulated brick veneer. The roof is made of simulated cedar shakes. The interior of Ray's can be seen through the acrylic panes of the front door. The back wall features 2 brick ghost signs, a simulated tin sign, and a Blues Brothers Concert poster. The beat to hell 1974 Dodge Monaco Bluesmobile ex-Police cruiser model was manufactured by Greenlight models, and has been heavily worked over by D.A.
D.A.'s structures are exclusive one-of-a-kind miniature 3D works of art. No two are alike, only one of each is ever created. This artwork has been signed and dated on the underside of the base. You will not find another like it anywhere. If you are a fan of this great movie, then this really should be a must have piece.
Please note: This diorama is available with or without the custom made cherry wood and acrylic display case. The last photo shows this piece without the base or cover.
The diorama dimensions are: 8-1/2" long x 5.75" wide x 3.5" high.
The case dimensions are: 10.75" long x 7.5" wide x 5" high.
