When you need a scale miniature for your private collection or

a commercial application, Creative Miniature Associates can

create anything for you. From an exquisite one of a kind

scratch built model to a full range of kits and/or hand built

models. Our primary focus is automotive.

Our clients have included: automobile manufacturers,

commercial houses, television, race drivers, model companies

and numerous private collectors.

All models are extensively researched from: our access to

many of the actual cars, and our extensive research library

which is comprised hundreds of books, over 1000 magazines,

and thousands of separate articles & photographs. We are also

in contact with a number of the top automotive restorers and

historians and have a comprehensive knowledge of most types

of road & race cars from the early 1920's through the cars of

today.

All orders are treated individually - no "toy like" work. We do not

build any model in a "box stock" manner - we modify and add

detail to every model we build. Typically we will fabricate

whatever parts are needed in order to build a proper and

accurate miniature. All models are signed and dated. If the

model is to be of a version or type of car that we do not have

enough information on, then it is important for us to be supplied

with as much information as possible from the customer, as

well as required photographs of the exact car to be modeled. If

needed (and as we have done numerous times) we will travel

almost anywhere in the world to see the car in person to gather

the necessary photos and detailed information. This is

something we always do when taking on a commission for a

scratch built model.

We work in all scales. From 1:43rd through 1:8th. We specialize

in 1:24th and 1:12th scales. Many of the more popular model

kits are available in 1:43rd and 1:24th scales (approx. 4" long

and approx. 7" long respectively). With custom builts the most

economical way to start is with an existing base kit, though we

can and have scratch built models in many scales. The widest

range of choices of what we call the "base kits" are in 1:43 and

1:24th scales. The larger you go the larger the cost.

Please note that literally anything can be built, it is simply a

matter of your budgetary constraints. If so desired, we will

replicate the interior of a car down to a radar detector of any

type, 3 dimensional dash gauges, seats with piping, wood trim,

full engine and chassis detail, even machined miniature bolt

heads, etc. We have a large selection of parts and accessories

on hand, and we do fabricate many parts that are not readily

available. Naturally all models have gleaming hand rubbed

paint finishes.

Our models are ordered by people who want the very best

there is. For that reason we have been selected by some of the

foremost automobile collectors and corporations to build

models for them. Shown in this section is just a small sampling

of the numerous models we have custom built for private
